since 2014, i've been a cultural worker uplifting communities throughout the arts, culture, and business sectors through anti-racists practices, responsive programs, and creative consulting.
currently as the grants manager at northwest film forum, i'm co-designing and leading their "collective power fund" (a partnership with the warhol foundation). through focus groups and grassroots ethos, we are collaborating with the arts community to diy an equitable and accessible grant program that dismantles institutional barriers and nurtures collective power, resources, collaboration, and trust.
from 2014 to 2020, i was the program coordinator at artist trust providing capacity-building trainings, strategic advising, and grantmaking programs to washington state artists, plus co-developing their racial equity framework and curriculums.
i recently took a leap of faith to find and experience a way of life, a way of music, that has yet to been defined...
i'm a short-list writer for kexp and the stranger, plus serve as an artist community member and strategist for the capitol hill arts district steering committee and the record academy's music advocacy forum.
